Gather round friends, associates, peers, and/or fellow lovers of Brian, Justin, and all that is Queer as Folk. (who am I kidding? I like you guys almost as much as I do my morning coffee)
Now that we've discussed our g spots, toys, and positions we know each other better, I'd like to successfully present to this fandom the first video I ever made (about 6 months ago) of course it is pure B/J and mainly about their first meeting with some peeks at the future.

My sincerest thanks to pendulumchanges, for saving my dumb ass from another night of frustration and to not_yet_defined for relighting my vid fire and to paddies for providing downloadable clips.
My other 2 will be linked later tonight because I won't be able to contain my enthusiasm
at a later date so you don't get sick of me and because my collection only contains 3 vids.

I have no idea why YouTube hates me tonight, but this kept freezing up on me after the very beginning... KICKS THE CRAP OUT OF YOUTUBE.
So if you feel cheated of love and worship from the fangirls, that's why.... gggggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I can tell you that the tiny bit I watched has one of my favorite things, clips edited so they match the beat of the music but still look "right." I know how very hard that is!
Now, I'm going to try to watch it again and will comment on the actual vid instead of the first ten seconds when I can!

It did me too, several times. Often times they'll kind of stick, in which case I'll let it load fully and then watch, but today was actual freezing and stopping. Youtube may be broken :o
And yes, I'm completely anal about having the movements and cuts match the beat... so I hope you're able to watch and enjoy!
I'll explain this ahead of time because I'm that anal- there are two brief images of Justin with the crown. The intent was to show his falling from grace-- not that he's the heir. Brian is the son and the heir- the whole song is Brian's point of view. Now I feel like a total geek for feeling so compelled to explain, but it eats at me.

I didn't have problems with it on youtube so who knows what the hell Xie's problem is. She's busted the interwebs or something. ;-)
I commented over there but also wanted to leave a little something here. I thought it was very, very good. It takes talent to be able to match up scenes with music...something I'm not willing to try!
And that song...OMG I love The Smiths version of that song!

Thankyouthankyouthankyou :)) It was not only my first vid, but the first time I had used moviemaker... I learned as I went so I was pretty pleased with it.
In Xie's defense, my vid's froze up several times when I tried to watch them too... but her interweb may be busted as well :p

no, i only watched the one. i tend to spread things out...and only watch and read things hand fed to me *laughs* sad but true. bunny rec's things on retread all the time that everyone in fandom has apparently read, and i'll be all "*bounces* Yay!new!" :D
so you should definitely post the other two (spreading out is good) and then you should go make more! :D

I had a lot of trouble getting YouTube to load at all, but it was well worth the persistence - very nice choice of clips and although I didn't know the music it matched very well. thank you for sharing!
